Change of Captain

There has been a change at the top with the 1st team. Simon O'loughlin has stepped down as captain of the first team. Simon who has been captain for the last 3 years. Adam Bracewell will be the 2021 captain and look forward to continuing the development of a strong Enfield Team. We hope to be interviewing Adam before the start of the season and posting it on our YouTube channel.

Enfield Cricket Club are delighted to announce Stuart Els as their Professional for the 2021 Lancashire League season.

Stuart is a young talented South African all rounder who plays for the Border Provincial side, representing them from U15s all the way through to the first class level.

He is only 19 years old and is embarking on his 1st class career, but is very highly regarded by some very shrewd judges in South Africa.

A strong top order right hand bat with a terrific record in age group cricket, Stuart also bowls useful off spin and has the benefit of a UK Ancestry visa.

Enfield CC would like to thank Gary Hunt and Cric-intro for their excellent service in facilitating and securing the deal.

Function room developments

The recent club function room improvements are taking further steps forward in this bleak time of coronavirus and lockdowns. With a extensive program to bring in a fresh, modern and eye pleasing feel, we feel the club can face 2021 strong and forward moving. Once all the work has finished we will be posting pictures here on the website, on our social media accounts and a special video review on our YouTube channel. So stay with us and see how fantastic things look.

AGM 2021

Enfield will be holding its AGM on Thursday 27th May at 8pm. We will be holding it at the clubhouse under safe distancing rules. For further information please contact the club.
